BIG trout being caught at Santa Ana River Lakes
The big fish parade is on at Santa Ana River Lakes. There were 15 trout that weighed in at over 10 pounds this past week at Santa Ana River Lakes. Antonio Rincon of Moreno Valley caught a 14 pound trout using a plastic worm at Sandy Beach.
Arturo Velasquez of Anaheim caught 3 big trout totaling 27 pounds, his largest weighing 10 1/2 pounds using mini jigs & night-crawlers also at Sandy Beach.
Bill Wright of Anaheim caught 2 big trout totaling 18 1/2 pounds, his heaviest fish was 11 pounds 12 ounces using chartreuse Power-Bait at the Pump House. James Anderson of La Puente also caught 2 big trout totaling 18 pounds 4 ounces, his biggest trout was 10 pounds 4 ounces using night-crawlers & chartreuse dough bait. The Santa Ana River Lakes WON Lightning Trout & Super Trout tournament is scheduled for Dec. 7th. 19 1/2 POUND TROUT caught at Corona Lake
Corona Lake aka Home of the Super Fish has lived up to its alias. There were 17 trout checked in at or over 10 pounds including a Super Trout that weighed in at 19 1/2 pounds.
Juan Carlos of La Puente caught a monster 19 1/2 pound trout using pink & orange Power-Bait rolled with Hatchery Dust at the boat dock. Dan Campobasso of Riverside caught a 12 pound trout using a mice tail near the trees in a float tube. 
Joshua Levy of Upland caught a 10 pound 7 ounce & 10 pound 2 ounce trout using rainbow dough bait rolled with Hatchery Dust from his float tube by the Dam. John & Albin Pena of Riverside caught 3 trout totaling 22 pounds 14 ounces, their largest trout at 12 pounds 4 ounces fishing from shore with rainbow Power-Bait. Rick Barba of Rialto caught his trout limit with his biggest fish at 11 pounds using green dough bait rolled with Hatchery Dust from a float tube.
