17 1/2 pound SUPER TROUT landed at Santa Ana River Lakes
The majority of the biggest trout in California are caught at Santa Ana River Lakes. This past week alone 15 trout over 10 pounds were checked in at the tackle-shop.
Victor Silva of Brea landed a 17 pound 8 ounce trout using a mice tail near the boat dock. Glenn Dosier of Norwalk caught a 15 pound 8 ounce trout using Power-Bait at also at the Boat Dock. Samuel & Noah Reyes of Montebello landed a 14 pound 14 ounce trout using a green LGE worm fishing in Chris’ Pond. Craig Joachim of Anaheim landed 2 huge trout totaling 22 pounds, his largest 13 pounds 8 ounces using chartreuse Power-Bait fishing at La Palma point. GREAT trout fishing at Corona Lake
Corona Lake continues to crank of the big trout. Jose Wegrete of Thousand Oaks caught a 11 pound 9 ounce using rainbow Power-Bait fishing from a boat in the middle of the lake. Tony Hicks of Perris caught a 11 pound 4 ounce trout using chartreuse garlic Power-Bait fishing at the Boat Dock.
Brittany Hammond of Riverside caught a 10 pound 8 ounce trout using a green Lip RipperZ worm fishing at J.D.’s Point. Jose Cierra of Perris caught a 10 pound 5 ounce trout using yellow Power-Bait fishing at the Dam.
