BIG catfish stringers reported at SARL
Steve Zookswad of Baldwin Park caught 20 catfish totaling 36 pounds, his largest cat 6 pounds fishing with mackerel in the big lake. Matt & Brad Henandez of Corona caught 7 big cats totaling 23 pounds using shrimp at La Palma point.
Joey & Froilan of Ontatio caught 4 catfish totaling 28 pounds using meal worms & marshmellows at the catfish lake. Cal Nunferely of Reseda caught 7 catfish totaling 22 pounds ushing both mackerel and shrimp in the catfish lake. Santa Ana River Lakes is open seven-days-a-week and during catfish season. Russ Car of Canyon Lake caught 5 catfish totaling 19 pounds, his largest cat weighed in at 4 pounds using shrimp at the Dam.
