20 POUND CATFISH CAUGHT & RELEASED AT SARL
Arnold Turner of Whittier caught & released a 20 pound catfish using a shrimp & marshmallow combo at “The Road” in the Big Lake.
Tremain Larkin of Oxnard caught 5 catfish totaling 20 pounds using mackerel in Chris’ Pond. Ben Bullord of Orange caught 10 tilapia totaling 7 pounds using night-crawlers fishing at the Boat Dock in the Big Lake. Santa Ana River Lakes is open seven days & nights a week during catfish season. During the summer there is 24 hour fishing, no extra charge for overnight camping every Friday & Saturday night beginning at 5 pm. CATFISH ON THE CHEW AT CORONA LAKE
Jose Delfin of Riverside caught 5 catfish totaling 13 pounds 10 ounces using both night-crawlers and mackerel fishing from shore at the Dam.
Santiago Hernandez of Corona caught & released a 9 pound large-mouth bass using a crank bait from a float tube. Daniel Fernandez of Carson caught 5 catfish totaling 12 pounds using mackerel from a float tube. Corona Lake is open seven days & nights a week during catfish season.
