CATFISH ON THE CHEW AT SANTA ANA RIVER LAKES
Terry Diamond of Anaheim fished the overnight 24 hour fishing family special and ended up with 15 catfish totaling 30 pounds using mackerel at the Bubble Hole.
Daniel Chavez of Norwalk caught 5 catfish totaling 27 pounds, his largest at 9 pound 8 ounces using shrimp from his kayak fishing in the Big Lake.
Edgar Sandez of Corona caught 9 catfish totaling 27 pound 10 ounces using mackerel at Levitz corner.
Santa Ana River Lakes is currently stocking catfish every Friday and Tilapia every other Friday. S.A.R.L. is open 7 days a week for both day & night fishing. 24 hour camping/overnight fishing is available every Friday & Saturday night, 5pm to 4pm the next day during the summer.
