HOT CATFISH ACTION AT SANTA ANA RIVER LAKES

Angel Shank of Fullerton caught 9 catfish totaling 21 pounds, largest catfish at 4 pounds 8 ounces using both mackerel & night-crawlers in the Catfish Lake.  David Zviderveld of Fountain Valley caught 2 big catfish totaling 11 pounds 8 ounces, his heaviest catfish at 7 pounds 8 ounces using mackerel in the Catfish Lake.Shirley Bhurl & Gary Weir of Cypress caught 10 catfish totaling 20 pounds using mackerel also in the Catfish Lake - SARL  Shirley Bhurl & Gary Weir of Cypress caught 10 catfish totaling 20 pounds using mackerel also in the Catfish Lake.  Tom Royce of Anaheim caught 5 catfish totaling 14 pound 8 ounces using shrimp at the boat dock in the Big Lake. The third qualifying tournament for the 2014 Slay Fest Championship will be 5pm Sat. July 26th at S.A.R.L. Santa Ana River Lakes is open seven days & nights  a week during catfish season.
