SUMMER NIGHTS at Santa Ana River Lakes for some HOT CATFISH ACTION

Morris Sutlift of Garden Grove caught 4 big catfish totaling 44 pounds, his largest weighed in at 25 pounds.  Morris was trolling in his boat using a silver needle fish.  Erik Houstin of Irvine caught & released a 20 pound catfish using shrimp at the pump house. Kevin Kaiser Sr. of Ontario caught a 15 pound catfish using mackerel scented with JB’s fish sauce caught at Sandy Beach & released in the Catfish Lake.  David Rochin of Anaheim caught 3 big cats a 10 pound 8 ounce, 7 pound 8 ounce & a 5 pound 8 ounce using LGE customs plastic worms float tubing in the Catfish Lake.
