18 POUND CATFISH CAUGHT AT SANTA ANA RIVER LAKES

Erasmo Salas of Compton caught and released a 18 pound catfish using mackerel it the Catfish Lake.  Tuan Mai of Corona caught 10 catfish totaling 41 pounds 13 ounces using fresh mackerel from his float tube in the Big Lake.  Julio Urrutia of Placentia caught 10 catfish totaling 28 pounds 3 ounces using mackerel in the Big Lake at the Bubble Hole. Santa Ana River Lakes is open seven days & nights  a week during catfish season. CATFISH ON THE CHEW AT CORONA LAKE

Victor Anaya of Covina caught a 10 pound 8 ounce catfish using mackerel at the Dam.  Paul Sulz of Riverside caught 3 catfish & 2 tilapia totaling 11 pounds using shrimp & night-crawlers from a boat. Corona Lake is open seven days & nights a week during catfish season. Richard Garcia of Riverside caught 5 catfish totaling 12 pounds using fresh shrimp also from a boat.  During the summer there is 24 hour fishing, no extra charge for overnight camping every Friday & Saturday night beginning at 5 pm.   Corona Lake is now stocking twice a week with catfish & tilapia.  For more Corona Lake fishing information, call 951-277-4489 or log on at www.fishinglakes.com
